Senior Cyber and Information Security Specialist

We’re seeking a seasoned professional in cyber and information security to join our team. Your role will be instrumental in shielding our organization from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with pertinent standards and regulations, and bolstering business continuity and resilience.

 

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will implement our cybersecurity roadmap, including the transition of our ISO27001:2017 policies to comply with ISO27001:2022 standards. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing and vigilantly monitoring security controls and measures to proactively prevent, detect, and respond to cyber incidents.

You’ll also manage our Information Security Management System (ISMS) , SOA and safeguards. Conducting comprehensive business impact assessments, risk assessments, and audits to identify and mitigate potential cyber risks and vulnerabilities within our systems will be a key aspect of your role.

Furthermore, you will serve as an advisor on the continual development and improvement of our security architecture and policies for our IT infrastructure and applications. Your responsibilities will include enhancing cyber resilience and further refining our Business Continuity Plans to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of cyber threats.

Providing guidance and support to other IT staff and business units on cyber security, information management, business continuity, and resilience best practices will also be integral to your role. Staying abreast of the latest trends and developments in cyber security, information management, business continuity, and resilience is paramount to success in this position.

You’ll drive initiatives aimed at ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including DORA and NIS2. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and developing cyber security standards applicable to our asset and platform portfolio within CIP and CISC.

 

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you must possess:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security, information management, business continuity, and resilience, preferably in a senior or leadership role.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in security architecture, ISO27001, ISO27002, ISO27003, ISO27005, and ISO27019 standards.

• Profound expertise in IT and cyber risk management, including risk identification, analysis, evaluation, treatment, and reporting.

• In-depth understanding of relevant legislation, including DORA, NERC CIP, and NIS2.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.

• A proactive and problem-solving attitude, coupled with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
