Data Engineer Associate in CIP/CISC

We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Data Engineer Associate to join our Data & Analytics team.

This role provides an opportunity to significantly impact our data-driven initiatives and contribute to our continued success. You will be maintaining and developing our data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric and ensuring data quality and integrity throughout our systems.


Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance. This includes monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently. You will also develop new solutions to meet evolving business needs, ensuring they are built according to industry and CIP standards. Engaging with stakeholders is crucial for refining and testing tasks, ensuring that the solutions developed align with business requirements.

 

Key Deliverables:

  • Create design and maintain data pipelines based on business requirements in Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory & Notebooks)
  • Maintenance and change requests on existing solutions (Azure Data Factory – data flows)
  • Ensure the continued robustness of the platform

 

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in IT or Finance IT, coupled with a genuine passion for data. Being detail-oriented and having an analytical mindset will allow you to address complex data challenges effectively. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

  • Minimum +2 years of experience in a Data Engineer or related role
  • Strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing
  • Experience translating business requirements into practical data solutions
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL
  • Experience with Azure data tools, including Azure Functions, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for new technologies and features, such as Microsoft Fabric

 

In addition to these qualifications, the ideal candidate demonstrates curiosity and a proactive approach to exploring new opportunities. A technical and analytical mindset, coupled with a pragmatic and proactive approach to problem-solving, is crucial. An educational background in computer science, data technology, or a similar field is preferred.
