Enterprise Architect
As an Enterprise Architect, your central focus in the upcoming year will revolve around managing and aligning business needs within our architecture. This will entail close collaboration with our business units and strategies to identify opportunities and increase digitization through the use of IT based on a clear overall target picture for our enterprise and application architecture. Our current landscape is built on a successful ‘cloud first’ strategy and integrates the latest Microsoft Azure technologies.
Your responsibilities encompass crafting comprehensive description of our enterprise, application, and technology architecture —both their present state and their envisioned future state. You will be leading the implementation of a business-aligned enterprise, application and IT architecture for our business areas.
Furthermore, you’ll be instrumental in establishing robust architecture governance processes, leveraging the newest technologies to enhance efficiency and alignment across diverse operational aspects.
Responsibilities:
• Set the direction, management, and governance of our enterprise and application architecture, including target pictures, roadmaps, principles, and requirements.
• Deliver comprehensive target architectures, roadmaps, and reference architectures for business applications, data, technology, and infrastructure.
• Understand and oversee the flow of data and processes across our landscape, identifying key inputs and outputs.
• Identify relevant solutions, products, and services aligned with business needs.
• Provide expert advice on IT/enterprise architecture to both business and IT colleagues.
• Actively participate in strategic and tactical projects to ensure successful delivery and alignment with architecture goals.
• Create ambitious visions, architectures, and roadmaps to drive digitalization and technological advancement in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Analyze and continuously plan improvements to our architecture to meet evolving business demands.
• Collaborate closely with business and other functions to shape our IT strategy, roadmaps, and data journey.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key technical and business stakeholders.
• Emphasize the absence of legacy systems as an opportunity to assert control over IT through a clear architectural perspective.
The ideal candidate, who highlights a blend of hands-on expertise, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of diverse business domains, possesses qualities crucial for steering our architectural initiatives toward success.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years: Experienced Enterprise Architect across business applications, cloud, and data.
• 3+ years: Experienced within Application Architecture & Business processes (e.g., finance, ERP & HR).
• Experience with cloud-based products, Azure services, and data integration platforms.
• Functional IT understanding encompassing ERP/Finance Architecture, SaaS solutions, integrations, and high-level data & information management.
• Hands-on experience with architecture principles and design patterns.
• Proven track record in large/medium-scale end-to-end project implementation.
• Proficiency in navigating complex organizational structures and effectively communicating with leaders
• Capability to engage effectively with top-level executives and business stakeholders while maintaining a hands-on approach
• Preferred experience in the financial sector, e.g., banking or investment management.
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English, preferably Danish.
• Higher education in computer science or related field.
You exhibit a strong curiosity towards understanding business and IT domains, possess the ability to set direction and confidently engage in senior business interactions. Furthermore, you have excellent facilitation and communication skills, commitment to being a team player and fostering a positive attitude.
