Azure Data Warehouse Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled -and enthusiastic Azure Data Warehouse Architect to join our team. We are an IT department delivering business value by delivering IT Services driven by business initiatives in in a global leading organization within renewable energy infrastructure investments.

Your role

In this role, you’ll be designing and implementing scalable and efficient Business Intelligence solutions using Azure Data Warehouse, while ensuring high performance, data integrity policy -and crisis management compliance. You will play a crucial part in optimizing, maintaining, and managing the daily operations of the data warehouse platform as well as acting as a trusted advisor in all collaborations towards business and executive stakeholder and vendors.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Architectural solution designs supporting business capabilities on Data Warehouse platform
• Developing and maintaining data models, ETL processes, and integration designs
• Configure, customize and optimize data warehouse applications, queries and work flows
• Ensuring compliant documentation of the data warehouse platform, data flows, integrations, and data transformations
• Technical guidance and collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business units
• Act as a trusted advisor towards Business stakeholder
• Foster a strong collaborative relationship with our rising number of business technologists

About you

To be successful in this job, you possess a strong background in working with data warehousing and Azure technology services. You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data warehouse -and issues. Exceptional communication skills are required in terms of reporting operational KPI’s towards executive management as well as proactive collaboration skills that enables you to work closely -and professional with stakeholders and vendors. You have a personal professional interest in your field of expertise, which entails that you always have an updated knowledge of new -and upcoming features and services that are being released.

Your qualifications include:
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions
• Proficiency or experience in collaboration with Low-code development teams
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and integration techniques
• Experience in vendor management towards IT operations supplier
• Advanced SQL skills and a strong understanding of data warehouse optimization techniques, indexing strategies, and query execution plans
• Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Analysis Services
• Knowledge of data governance and security practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards -and regulations
• Experience with AI (Generative, Large Language Models) are perceived as a great advantage
