Data Engineer – ESG Focused Data Solutions

We are looking for a dedicated Data Engineer who will contribute to the development of sustainable and scalable data solutions. You will collaborate closely with the ESG team and colleagues in Data & Analytics to design and optimize data pipelines within the Azure ecosystem. Your work will support the very important ESG agenda for CIP, while also contributing to broader business initiatives across the organization.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines utilizing the modern Azure stack.
  • Build, maintain, and ensure the robustness and continuity of sustainable and scalable data solutions within ESG, with a focus on regulatory compliance (SFDR, CSRD, PAI).
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and requirements.
  • Support the development of new data pipelines aligned with ESG requirements and Microsoft Fabric technologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, and proficiency in working with SQL databases
  • Experience in data modeling and data warehousing
  • Relevant experience with regulatory frameworks such as SFDR, CSRD, and PAI is highly advantageous.
  • Solid background collaborating closely with ESG specialists and front-end developers to deliver high-quality technical solutions, driven by a genuine interest in sustainability and ESG principles
  • Ownership and responsibility for delivering effective, high-quality solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to balance technical detail with a broader project perspective.
  • Educational background in computer science, data technology, or similar is preferred.
